When you exercise what are you thinking about? Errands, kids, when is this work out going to be over?
So many of us go through the motions without really focusing on what body part you are working or where you should feel it. When using free weights, bands, or even your own body weight, you should always be focusing on that muscle you are trying to build. I say it a million times and I will say it a million times more stretch that muscle, squeeze that muscle, stretch, squeeze, stretch, squeeze.
You maximize that muscle every time you stretch and squeeze. If you don't feel it anywhere ask "where should I feel this?" Make every rep count. You will maximize that muscle and see faster results.
So, don't just go through the motions slow it down. stretch, squeeze, stretch, squeeze. Mind to muscle control makes all the difference!!
