Daryn B. started working out with Mendy at Fit by Burn because it was her senior year in
high school and she wanted to be healthy and fit before she left for college. She also wanted to look good in her senior pictures, which obviously, she accomplished! Daryn is very proud of reaching her goal of looking great in her senior pictures. She also reached her goal of fitting into one of her old school uniform skirts!
She worked with both Shelley and Mendy over the last year. "Both Shelly and Mendy have both been so supportive of me and I couldn't thank them enough!" Daryn says they always made workouts fun and different. She could tell they truly cared about her and wanted to see her succeed! Daryn's advice for others who want to make fitness a part of their lives is:
1. 30 minutes of exercise a day can actually change your life and it's totally worth it. 2. Just because you don't see immediate results, DON'T GIVE UP! It takes some time, but if you stick to it you will see results. 3. Make working out fun so that you don't get bored with it.
Daryn also wants to share how important it is for people to respect themselves and understand that their well-being is important, too. She cares for others so much that she tends to forget about herself. Once she started this journey to being fit, she realized that it's okay to care for herself, too. She says "You're never too busy for a 30 minute workout."
