Lost 5 lbs, 6 inches, 3.4% body fat. Trained 10 weeks!
Susan is a busy mom who is passionate about faith, family and fun! She has been married for twenty five years and has three children. She enjoys cooking for her family, traveling, water skiing, and walking their two boxers.
She just completed training two days per week with Shelley for eight weeks. On days she didn't train with Shelley, she worked out at home or went to the fitness center for cardio or took a brisk walk. Now she is getting started in the Daily Burn small group training class and doing yoga one day per week. Although she only lost a few pounds, She has lost a total of six inches and over 3% body fat. She feels stronger and more energetic than she has felt in years. Susan's advice for other who are starting their fitness journey? Find balance in your diet. Don't give up entire food groups. Don't compare yourself to other people. We are all on our own journey. Be kind to yourself in words and thoughts. Choose to be joyful. Like many of us, Susan struggles with maintaining her routine on weekend. She says "On those days when you just don't feel like working out, if you can just get yourself to the gym you'll be so glad you did. I never regret working out. But I DO regret it when I don't work out."
